DIY Dish Soap with Kirk's 3-in-1 Nourishing Cleanser

Tell me the benefits of purchasing dish soap at the store?  It's convenient while picking up groceries?  Ok, that's one.... And that's really all I got....

Sure there's an ingredient list on the side but do you know what all those are?  I sure in the heck don't!  While making your own you can control exactly what you put in your products.

You don't know how to make it?  I've got the simplest recipe here!

You don't have time?  Don't worry, it takes about a whole 2 or 3 minutes to make.  That's WAY faster than the checkout lanes at the store....

You don't have all the ingredients?  Easy peasy!  We are using Kirk's 3-in-1 Nourishing Cleanser and you can order it HERE and save a trip into town! The only other thing you need is water and vinegar! (and hey look,  I already have them on hand from making DIY Floor Cleaner!)

I love making our own household cleaning products.  I keep a couple things on hand, like the Kirk's Cleanser for just that purpose!  We live far enough out of town, it's faster, cheaper, and easier to make our own rather than a trip down the dirt roads.  Plus I can control the portions and products used in our cleansers.  With Baby Kolton, I feel so much better knowing we're using safe products that even if for some forsaken reason he get's into them, I know the call to poison control is going to be a lot less scary.

So far, we've used Kirks 3-in-1 Nourishing Cleanser for DIY Floor Cleaner, and it's been working great!  Plus I know if Kolton makes his way to the wet floors, it's not going to be harmful to him because it's the same soap that we use in the shower as well.  Yup, their products have multiple uses just depending on how you want to use them!  We'll be keeping a couple bottles of Kirk's in the laundry room for all our just in case cleaning needs!

Thank you Kirk's for a very simple recipe and here it is;

This Liquid Dish soap is capable of handling your kitchens toughest, greasiest cleaning jobs utilizing our Kirk’s 3in1 Head to Toe Cleanser … naturally and affordably.
1 cup Kirk's 3-IN-1 HEAD TO TOE CLEANSER
3 Tablespoons of Water
2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
1 Combine all ingredients into a squirt bottle or a dispensing scrub brush.
Shake gently to mix.
3. This recipe will not create an abundance of suds you may be used to, so be careful not to use too much.

They state that the Kirk's wont create an abundance of bubbles and suds but that's with all homemade dish soap.  Dish soap companies make their products produce bubbles to let you think that your getting your dishes clean... It's a mind game it really is.  Most DIY and natural dish soaps don't have the extra additives in them that produce those suds so if you've never made your own household cleaning products this will be a new experience for you.  More is not more.  I promise ;)

Pretty easy right?  Sure is a lot faster than a trip to the store!
